Ira Hietanen-Tanskanen has had a long and varied career in social advocacy and lobbying. She joins Tehy from the OAJ Trade Union of Education, where her responsibilities included education policy advocacy, lobbying and communications.
- Work in the social, health and education sector is the backbone of the welfare society. It is a pleasure and an honour to start in a position where I can promote and influence the working conditions and prerequisites for work of professionals in the field, Hietanen-Tanskanen says.
Hietanen-Tanskanen is very experienced in the field of organisations, legislative development and lobbying.
