Master of Laws with court training Jarkko Pehkonen assumed his post as advocacy director on 18 December. Before this appointment, Pehkonen worked as a specialist and lawyer at Tehy from November 2023 and served as Tehy’s Leading Legal Counsel from 2025.
Pehkonen's predecessor, Master of Laws with court training Else-Mai Kirvesniemi, has moved on to the post of President of the Finnish Confederation of Professionals (STTK).
On the same day, Reeta Lehtonen took up the position of Human Resources Director at Tehy. She has been working in various HR positions at Tehy since 2014, and served as Personnel Manager from 2019. Lehtonen holds a Master of Business Administration (YAMK) degree in the field of business innovation and management.
The role of Human Resources Director is new at Tehy.
